Rhyming is playful and fun. Beginning her two part lesson today, Lorene introduced using rhyming words at the ends of lines and how to recognize different rhyming patterns. As that lesson continues on Friday, kids will have a chance to write their own rhyming poems.
Tomorrow, Lisa will take us inside writing haikus - short form of Japanese poetry.
For Susan’s lesson on Thursday: As the week moves on -- now that our routines are different and we’re spending most of our time indoors, questions arise, our minds wander and wonder… please send your questions and wonderings to susan@acceleratedliteracylearning.com.
She’ll show kids ways to use them in their poems.
Remember 10:30 AM Eastern DAILY is the time if you want to learn how to rhyme.
ALL for Poetry and Poetry for ALL!
