Susan Radley Brown interviewed for Khambrel Marshall's KPRC-TV Houston Newsmakers

Susan Radley Brown and Accelerated Literacy Learning's work at River Oaks Elementary in Houston is highlighted during the show's segment on education.

We have exciting news!

Susan Radley Brown, our founder and CEO of Accelerated Literacy Learning, is being interviewed by Khambrel Marshall for his Houston Newsmakers education segment airing June 17th.

The interview will air June 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.

Susan worked with Cheryl Burton’s 3rd graders this year at Houston ISD's River Oaks Elementary.

Recently they published their Literary Non-Fiction Picture Books and celebrated this milestone with a wonderful publishing party.

The party was fun, however, the excitement from the students showing their pieces, as well as sharing their process with parents and teachers, school and district administrators was “icing on the cake”.

KPRC-TV videotaped part of the event. On the show, Susan will be talking about what makes the curriculum wonderful, what’s different about A.L.L.’s approach to the teaching of writing and her passion for teaching and learning and inspiring students to become lifelong writers.

Hope you’ll tune in!
